Alhaji Suleiman Umar, popularly known as Mai Doma, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Doma United Football Club. He is a football administrator and a strong supporter of grassroots football development.
Under his leadership, Doma United has continued to grow and establish itself as a competitive football club. His commitment to the development of the club has been central to its progress, including its rise to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and its continued investment in young football talent.
As Chairman, Mai Doma provides strategic leadership and oversees the overall direction of the club. He works with the management, coaching staff and players to create the structure and support needed for the team to compete successfully.
He is also committed to merit, discipline, hard work and player development, encouraging young footballers to make the most of opportunities at Doma United.
Beyond Doma United, Mai Doma has contributed to the administration and development of Nigerian football. He has served as a representative of NPFL clubs on the Nigeria Premier League Board and has also held responsibilities within the Club Owners Association.
His leadership philosophy is centred on building a stronger club, developing football talent and creating a team that the supporters and community can be proud of.
